About me

Originally from Slovakia, I recently lived and worked in Thailand. I moved there in October 2018 shortly after I had finished my round the world trip. Before that I lived in the Czech Republic for 9 years.

I worked as an English teacher in a government school where I gave classes to kindergarten and primary school pupils. I am passionate about teaching and training people. I am eager to travel all around the world and visit every single country. I have visited 39 countries in Europe and 72 countries altogether.

Also, I am fond of speaking foreign languages. I can speak English very well. I have good knowledge of German and Dutch. And I am learning Spanish, too.

I like cycling, hiking, skiing and reading.

From August 1, 2017 to August 1, 2018 I was on a round the world trip.

Amazing things I have done:

I have visited 72 countries.

I have hiked the Annapurna circuit in Nepal covering 263 km in 16 days.

I have been at the altitude of 5.416 m above sea level at the Thorung La pass in Nepal.

I have travelled from Slovakia to Singapore overland.

I have travelled from Central Europe (Slovakia) to Southeast Asia (Vietnam) overland by train.

I have biked down the world’s most dangerous road (in Bolivia).

I have visited Salar de Uyuni, the most surreal place I have ever seen.

I have seen Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world, both, from Zambia and Zimbabwe.

I have canoed down the Zambezi river.

I have taken the TAZARA train from Tanzania to Zambia.
***
I have seen a hippo grazing around the tent I was staying at.

I have seen Taj Mahal, the most amazing piece of architecture so far.

I have been to the World’s End (Sri Lanka).
